This semester, 20 credits, semi-free days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's March, 2011 tomorrow and there goes the 2 months for this year. There's only 2 more months for this semester and then I'm off to the the finals' battlefield.

I bought the colour pencils last week to prepare myself for the fashion design sketching class that I've signed up. I used to enjoy drawing and colouring, well I do it better with crayons. Colour pencils was my least favourite 'cause the blending job ain't easy compared to crayons and water colour.

For the next few weeks I'll be having quizzes, midterms and deadlines meet. Talk about stress, well, you'll just slowly get use to it I guess. It's all about time management, cut down on the shopping, clubbing and outings I guess I'll do fine in the next 2 months. *fingers cross*

At the same time, I'm also sorting out my time for summer break so that I can either pick up a job or do a part-time intern. I'm also thinking of something awesome pawsome at the moment, will reveal it once I've already got what I want.

Today's weather was beyond awesome! (: Finally it's spring, Mr Sun was out today, shining through my windows.

And so I decided to bring my cam out for a walk while I make my way to the computer barn to print some notes.

Walked along the sea, around the outdoor sports area for some fresh air and breeze. I took some time off from the evil social network temptations by leaving my iPhone in my room. Sat on the platform and chilled.

Yesterday me and the girls had a spontaneous dinner out in Sai Kung. This time I brought my cam out for the Pepperoni's that I've been bragging about in my previous post!

It's been some time

It's been some time since I've been able to just ditch my books, spend at least half an hour just to wait for the pictures to upload and update my blog. There's still tones of yummy food pictures in my iPhoto that I just can't wait to share. However, today I would like to update on what I've been up to for these two weeks.

First off, I brought those packed Yee Sang back to Hong Kong for my local friends to try. As this was also my first time trying out those packed ones, I would say that it tasted really artificial.

Some liked it while some didn't. To me, it made me feel homey. Part of me was also proud that I had the opportunity to share this Malaysian Chinese delicacy with my friends.

Two of my friends moved into their own apartment, just to be clear, not as a couple, since both of them are guys. (:

Played beer pong and chilled.

One of my friend, Yee Ching loves her noodles all crushed into big chunks before she pours hot water into it.

Had microwave food with the girls in my hall. Tom Yum flavour packet noodles and green curry chicken with bread. *yums*

Despite only being here for 3 weeks, I've been visited twice. Once by my cousin and her fiancé, then came Ujin.

As usual brought all of them to my favourite place Mongkok. Ujin went to my favourite Char Chan Teng 2 nights in a row for the porridge and zha liong. For me it was 3 days in a row because the day before that I even had supper with my Ji Ho after Taylor Swift's concert.

So while waiting for Ujin the second night, I explored the places around Jordan MTR station. Amazingly I found Temple Street.

I never encourage my friends who come over to HK to step foot in the Ladies' Market. Temple Street on the other hand, I would gladly bring you there. There's more variety of souvenirs and less stalls which are selling the imitated designers' bags.

So here comes the highlight since I came back here, Taylor Swift Live in Hong Kong! Unfortunately I didn't dare to risk my DSLR being confiscated and hence only pictures from my iPhone were taken.

Queues were already formed by the time me and Ji Ho got there.

Best place to rip your wallet, this meal costs me $50.

The bass is slightly loud but nevermind it 'cause Taylor Swift was just pure awesome! (:

Some stuffs I learnt from this concert since I was in the standing area.

1. If you're early, make sure your phone's charge so you can go online or at least bring something to read.
2. Pack light food and bring a bottle water. Def don't want to get rip off like me and you can just throw the bottle away when you're about to get in the venue.
3. Wear comfy shoes, so you can afford to jump and shout all night long!

Well, I guess that's all for my lengthy post. It's only the third week of the semester yet all the assignments and proposals are already piling up. Trying to make a habit to do my revisions as frequently as possible and that explains the lack of update.

Ah Yat Restaurant in First World, Genting

Went up to Genting twice during my stay back home. Dinner again was picked by me, and so I opted for Ah Yat Restaurant in First World Genting.

I blogged about the Ah Yat branch which was in Kuala Lumpur once here. One of my first few blogpost and hence the smaller and less artistic pictures. :)

Prior to the desserts, noodles was served.

My dining experience this time was so much better compared to the previous time I had in Kuala lumpur. I'm guessing that the food stuffs on the ala carte menu are better than the set ones since those come in a much smaller portion and hence lack the oumph!

Ended the yummy meal with bird's nest egg tart. *drools*

A friend from Hong Kong, Nikika came to Malaysia. We had brunch in Grandmama's. I treated her the Nasi Lemak and Banana Fritters with Ice Cream. I'm still puzzled why does Grandmama's and Madam Kwan have the similar menu when they're not even related.

After helping Nik to get a reasonable taxi driver to sent her to the airport I went back to Pavillion to meet up with Nana.

Lunch for me, Nana and Huan at Dragon-i. I gotta agree that Dragon-i does have better soup dumplings than Din Tai Fung, but I would still go to Din Tai Fung because of their varieties of soup dumplings!

Apparently it used to be so much better, having almost half cup of pearls in the milk tea. Well, to me all milk tea kinda tastes the same! Also in Hong Kong if you want to have awesome milk tea, grab Gong Cha. I tried it and again, it still tastes the same to me. :) But everyone's lovin' it here!

2011 Reunion dinners

I've decided to blog about the reunion dinners I had back home before I go onto my posts for the Korea trip.

We had dinner in the new chinese restaurant in SS2 mall. Food was mehh.

Lou Sang, one of the Malaysian chinese delicacies. It's normally served as an appetizer during the Chinese New Year's reunion dinner.

So basically, everyone in the family starts to lou (toss) the ingredients while saying auspicious wishes out loud. The higher you toss, the greater your fortune would be for the year!

The Chinese New Year menu in the restaurants are roughly the same every year. You get shark fin's soup after the Yee Sang, then a fish. After that the dishes depends on which package that you opt for, mine was served with chicken meat, prawn, taufu and mushrooms. Before having the desserts, glutinous rice will be placed right in front of you, just to make sure your tummy is always filled up towards the end of the dinner!

It's said that everlasting friends can go long periods of time without speaking and never question their friendship. These types of friends pick up like they spoke just yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live. And they don't hold grudges. They understand that life is busy, but you will always love them.

I'm blessed to have such friends. Took a trip down to Seremban the next day after I landed in Malaysia. I haven't meet them for 2 years plus, way back to the time we ended high school.

The guy next to me, Kah Seng is now his on his way, pursuing his dream of becoming a fashion designer in Japan, I'm really proud of him! Abby, the girl on the right is leaving for New Zealand with her boyfriend for university, or college if that's your way of saying tertiary education. (: She's a living proof of being in a successful long distance relationship. Pau Lynn, the girl way to my left hand side, despite being on the same land we didn't really get to meet up till that night itself.

It was Abby's birthday on that day and so we had a tiny celebration for her. Another friend of mine left after the dinner and we headed over to a coffee shop which was just opposite the restaurant for yamcha.

Just thought that I should write a blog post on the quote since I could relate myself to it! (: More posts coming soon, well as usual food, this time from Korea which will make you drool.

La Risata @ Damansara Heights

I was finding for new restaurants to have good food back in Malaysia and so I opted to for La Risata in Damansara Heights since I read tonnes of good reviews when I was still in Hong Kong. To be honest, La Risata didn't give me the wow impression.

The reason that I didn't quite enjoy my dining experience there, a part of it I would like to blame myself for not ordering a the right stuff. Most of the food I had was in tomato base, which made everything blehh.

I would blame the Pepperoni's in Hong Kong for serving the most awesome Italian food I've ever had too! To make up my trip there, I was hoping their desserts could actually cheer me up.

Well, sadly it didn't. They ran out of Tiramisu and so my brother got the Zucotto. My Crema Catalana was three small creme brulee came in different flavours, original, strawberry and chocolate. I only liked the original one, the other two tasted wee weird and texture wasn't that good too.

Second semester

Back in Hong Kong, started my second semester yesterday. It was a long day, sat in the classes, met the new lecturers and was glad that all their English is understandable. :)

It's a short semester here in Hong Kong, only 4 months for this Spring. Within this 4 months, we have to go through countless quizzes, exams and team projects. Talk about team projects, that's what I fear most. Me being not so much of a people person, always have a hard time meeting and opening up myself to new people. That's a big problem when it's you're in university, 'cause basically you meet new people every single semester. If you're always keeping yourself comfortably in your own cocoon, trust me, you'll never going to get the most out of your university life!

I had to give up the business project in helping out ReDress because I need to focus more on my grades this semester. Well just hope everything goes fine this semester, or else I won't be able to enjoy my summer too.

Pretty much a depressing post to show how my new semester started. Just wish me luck people.

The Ming Room Restaurant AGAIN

It's hard to find a proper chinese restaurant which serves the usual chinese dishes but taste exceptionally well and different from the others. That's why I specially requested my parents to dine in The Ming Room restaurant during my stay back in Malaysia. I had my dinner once there during my Pa and Ma's last year's anniversary.

On top of all those yummy dishes, we ordered their Peking Duck since I was a sucker for that dish.

The fact that I choose to have a fine Chinese cuisine despite it's price proves that The Ming Room is definitely worth a visit. Consider it as a switch from Tai Thong or Overseas restaurants.

Work harder, no regrets.

Hairy Crab - Causeway Bay

This post was suppose to be up last year. D; Apologies for the major delay but now let me share with you my first experience having the hairy crab! :)

It was a dinner out with my mentor and his other mentees and colleague. We had simple chinese style dishes, pretty much giving me the homey feeling.

All the food tasted really yummy and also I had my first time experiencing the awful feeling of having wasabi spiciness gushing through my nose! :) We had these in the PCCW's staff canteen which is located nearby Causeway Bay.

Introducing the main dish for the night! :) My mentor's colleague which happens to be from Malaysia too helped me out by guiding me on how to handle my first hairy crab.

The tools you need. It's not the usual way where you crack up every single hard shell you see on the crab and just get the meat. For hairy crabs, you need to know the right part where you can open the back of the crab, cut of the unnecessary parts then only start to indulge yourself with the awesome-ness in it! :)

Ended my meal by slurping Coke from a bottle! :)

Gotta thank my mentor for treating us this meal and I did enjoyed myself that night, since it was winter and that kinda warmed me up a lil.

Watami, Hong Kong - The Good Food Time

Yesterday's lunch out with the girls. Watami, a Japanese restaurant which serves better Jap food than Pasta or Sushi Zanmai back home. Get what I mean? :) They are always packed during lunch and dinner hours just like Zanmai. I blogged about it once here.

I'm starting to love beef since I came here. Especially there was once I did the shabu-shabu in Causeway Bay, that restaurant was fantabulous! :D Will definitely head over there and blog for you guys aye! :)

Few other dishes which I conveniently forgot to take pictures of it. :( Had some catching ups since we haven't quite meet after the semester ended.

Then only I realise how unprepared I am for the Korea trip. Quickly had a hunting session around Hang Hau with Ronny. Hopefully the heat pads I bought last minute will help me survive through the trip. :)

Shall do my last minute check on my luggage then perhaps I'll write some posts to put on queue.

I'm starting to lose my directions.

Back in Hong Kong

I woke up really really late today since I had a movie marathon last night. So today after waking up and slacking a while, I started to go on Open Rice to check out places for awesome food.

UCC Cafe in Causeway Bay was my pick. I had high expectations of it since Ronny also texted saying that the cafe is good!

The interior of the cafe. These are the kind of fun-kind restaurant which you'll find in Hong Kong, think about Fullhouse or The Gardens in Malaysia. Of course, the concepts are both different. UCC Cafe gives you the coffee house, cosy feeling instead of the fun, chilling ambience in Fullhouse.

I had a quick peep at the menu and picked their seafood risotto. I've been a fan of risotto since I first tried it in my university's bistro.

To be honest, the seafood risotto was tad disappointing as it didn't came cheap too. It was $74 with a surcharge 10% of service charges. The presentation of the food, failed miserably. Looking at the picture you'll know what I mean. :( Plus it tasted just so-so.

Luckily I did a research on frozen yoghurt nearby. Crumbs appeared to be top on the list. They also serve scones there.

Just look at the crowd. You have to order, pay and get a number first. Then they'll call out your number for you to get it. It's $28 for the regular one with one topping, $32 for a large with two toppings. Additional toppings are charged $4 each. Basically it's the same price for a regular and a large froyo toppings, not sure why. :D

I had 4 toppings, mangoes, raspberry mochi and their house crumbs as toppings.

House crumbs was free since it's a Saturday. It's free when you have a regular froyo toppings or a large froyo.

I have never try Tutti Frutti back home. Only started to love froyo. Next time in Crumbs, I'll just have their House Crumb and Mochi as toppings. :) Side note here, the raspberry was really really really sour! :(

Din Tai Fung, Pavillion - Kuala Lumpur

My first brunch with my family when I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It was at one of Din Tai Fung's branch in the Pavillion shopping mall. Din Tai Fung is a restaurant which serves chinese cuisine and is based in Taiwan.

One of the best meals I had at home I guess. Everyone had their tummy filled up with yummy food!

We had two appetizers to kick start our day!

Their signature dish, xiao long bao (Shanghai Soup Dumplings). We had two baskets of it.

Another different type of soup dumpling, done in a more creative way. Both are filled with juicy soup and meat pastes in it.

Me and my brother each ordered a noodle and fried rice to complement the soup dumplings.

Papa and mama were both satisfied with their side dishes.

Me and my parents, gotta love them for bringing me for good food. Do ignore my slightly cacat-ed face expression. :)

I'm losing my blogging mojo nowadays. Just spare me a few days till I get myself back on track.

Plans can be made anytime, it's the execution which makes everything works out.

As for papa and mama, I'm truly sorry for what I did and hence the trouble and worries caused as well.

A food review on Din Tai Fung, Pavillion will be up tomorrow. :) I'm back in Hong Kong safe and sound. Just settled in my new room, and tomorrow I'll be heading out for a talk.

It's also time for me to sum up my 2010 and list out some to-do's for 2011. January's been great, ignoring my recklessness from last night.

Lord Stow's Bakery - Macau

I missed out this from my food reviews in Macau. So when you're in Macau, Portuguese tart is a must-eat over there. I had mine at Lord Stow's bakery in Venetian since I didn't get to head over to their original bakery which is in Coloane Square.

It was really good that I had two of it, despite having a hefty meal before that! According to Cai Jin and Debra, Lord Stow's Bakery is where they serve the best Portuguese tart in Macau. I definitely third that! :)

I'll just have to be better and stronger.

When I was still in the cold cold land

This was taken during New Year's eve back in Hong Kong. I celebrated it with my coursemates in Tsim Sha Tsui, watched the fireworks on screen and got home way earlier than expected. It was a chilling night in a concept restaurant, Our Wonderland.

They were still using the X' mas set menu on the New Year's eve.

The mural in Our Wonderland. Interesting part is that they had the whole process of finishing the mural recorded and were played repeatedly on the other side of the wall.

Complimentary bread with olive oil & vinegar and also their own truffle-somthing as dips. The dip tasted heavenly awesome, apparently it is a recipe created by the owner of Our Wonderland. :) *thumbs up*

Imagine having a bowl of warm Bosch soup during winter. *ohh-la-la*

We also had risottos and pastas there. Food there was pretty awesome, definitely will drop by there again to take better pictures of their food.

Quickie

Yep, I got my bangs after i-don't-know how long. :) Still not quite use to it and I sometimes miss my fringe, can't wait for my hair to grow!

Right now I'm in Genting, waiting for my next movie session. Me and my brother have this tradition of visiting the cinema whenever we're here. It came to a point when we would do a movie marathon for the sake of passing time here.

I've been really satisfied with my stay back home. Waking up early in the morning, coming back only after the clock strikes 12. I did lots of catching ups with my friends back home, more than I actually expected. I'm really glad some of us did meet up do the talks, reminiscing the old times back in college. It's only half a year since we all ended A levels, but we sure do miss the times back in Taylor's!

Okay, just a short quickie, 'cause I'm still not use to the internet speed. My blogging mojo always disappears by the time all the pictures are uploaded. No fret though, I'll be back in Hong Kong next Thursday.

Malaysian Cuisine - Air Asia & Sabah Malaysian Cuisine

People always say that the airplane's food suck. Honestly, I think Air Asia's one is alright, worth ordering and that explains why I ordered an extra Satay.

I was bloated by the time I got off my plane. Food was yummy, and no it wasn't because I didn't have it for almost 4 months. I did actually indulged myself in Malaysian cuisine a week before I came back.

This time, I brought my Korean friends, Ji Ho and Ho Sang along with me to the Sabah Malaysian Cuisine. Here are the food we ordered.

Of course there were 3 of chicken and beef satays each. :) The sotong with sambal was really spicy though, but at least we had a good meal. One thing to be aware of, the Roti Canai isn't serve with any curry but you may request it from the waiters.

It was a nice experience being able to share my home country's cuisine with a friend from a different country. Well I'm using a because Ho Sang's actually a Korean living in Malaysia now, technically he's kinda Malaysianised. :D

I'm glad that I'm home now, although I was being pissed on and off by the inefficient service from Malaysia's post and transportation service.

There's always good things happening, you just need to take off your eyes on the bad ones.

Hong Kong International Airport

Arlow people, latest update from the airport now. So, papa bought the basic 15kg for me, while I ended up in the airport with a 26.7kg luggage.

Yep, I opened the luggage in the middle of the airport, took out 10kg of clothings and shoes and other chargers and stuffs.

Now I'm having a 16kg luggage, two abnormally large size handcarry, a laptop and a handbag. Wohoo! May I reach Malaysia with all my luggages. :)

Stand and look from a different angle, you'll see something you've never thought of.

Of Highschool Friends and Food

Kai Lee and Hanson had another 6 days after ending the Macau trip, and so me being a food lover, shared my choice of good food around Hong Kong with them.

One great spot for food when you can't find any decent places around to eat would be Cafe de Coral. Also know as Dai Ga Lok, is a Hong Kong fast food chain which serves almost everything? You can get western food, hotpot and even the most basic local food, chicken rice.

My favourite pick there would be their western food.

Lucky for me, one of the cafeterias on my campus is actually run by this company. Usually, I'll have their curry pork chop with rice on campus.

Australian Dairy Company, another dairy company which is the must-go by the tourists. Personally I still like Yee Shun. :)

Here's their steamed milk. They don't have the double skin like what Yee Shun has, a little too sweet for my liking too.

Their egg sandwich was super awesome though! Look at the thickness of the scrambled egg! Now, I feel like going back for it. D; Might head there tomorrow for breakfast then.

I've been a really bad tour guide 'cause I've been spending most of my mornings under the blanket instead of having breakfast with them. :P And so, to make it up, here's a night activity I did with them!

Christmas Eve - Hong Kong

It was a Christmas well spent with my friends. So my Macau trip ended on the Christmas eve, having us rushing from the jetty in Tsim Sha Tsui back to my campus, which is in Clear Water Bay.

I booked a table in Pepperoni's way long time ago for that day. Everyone of us enjoyed the food, sadly I didn't bring my DSLR out that night as I had late night plans afterwards. Still, *fingers cross* I'll do a review on the restaurant soon!

I would say that luckily I did not spend my holidays in Hong Kong during these festive seasons. I didn't know that they actually put bars on the side on the roads to ensure a one-way flow of human traffic. It delays your time to reach from one place to another and you have to spend most of your time being squashed by the crowd.

So Haywood saw this froyo shop and told the police traffic to let us out of the crowd so that we could get in the shop. Smart move I would say, I discovered an awesome shop for frozen yoghurt and we saved ourselves from the killing crowd.

Countdown was done with my uni mates in Armani Bar. Lesson learnt, always drink outside before you enter Hong Kong's pub, bar or club, unless it's open bar. Freaking kena conned, the beer's price was jacked up like nobody's business.

Nonetheless, still enjoyed the night with ~~great~~ awesome companies! :)

Desserts and Snacks (Part II) - Macau

Continuing the previous blog post, let's have a look at our fourth stop for food in Macau.

Fourth Stop: Wing Kee's Beef Offal

This shop is just a few steps away from the Come Buy Milk Tea shop and Poon Vai Kei. Their curry paste is really spicy, and when a Malaysian says it's spicy, it is spicy.

I'm not a big fan of their specialty, the beef offal and hence I opt for the curry fishballs.

$10 for this amount of fishballs, pretty worth it I would say. They do have varieties of other meatballs to be go with their own curry paste. Prices varies according to the amount and types of meat balls you order.

Fifth Stop: Xiu Seong Hoi (Little Shanghai)

Now this shop is pretty hard to come about as it's actually located behind the main streets on the way to the Ruins of Church Facade. Well as for last resort, just call the phone number for delivery!

Wo Tip (Pot Stickers) $1.20 each

It was so good that we came back for more the next day! I bought 5 for myself as breakfast the second day I had it. :) And now blogging about it makes me miss it even more. :(

Jin Pau (Fried Bun) $1.50 each

Not really my liking, as I prefer Wo Tip over this. It's worth a try though as both are famous Shanghai snacks! :)

Sixth Stop: Poon Weng Kee

This shop has nothing to do with Poon Vai Kee, the bakery shop that I posted previously. Also this shop can be found on your way up to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Well, there's no way you can miss this shop as there's always a queue for it. Cookies here are sold out around 4pm. We didn't have the chance to try out the first time we were there and so we came back the next day to try our luck.

Poon Weng Kee opens at 12.30pm and the queue starts forming around that time too, so there's no hurry for you to reach there few hours earlier.

It's like butter cookies but what can I say, handmade cookies definitely taste better! :) One pack for only $10.

Here's me, after the munching and gobbling while finding our way to the ruins. So this basically marks the end for the blog posts of my trip in Macau. I actually misplaced my phone in Starbucks, Senado Square. Considering myself pretty lucky for finding it back. :) Thanks to the kind people in Macau!

Desserts and Snacks (Part I) - Macau

Here's a post on desserts and snacks in Macau. Other than having proper meals, we did the Malaysian way of eating, jalan jalan cari makan (eat whatever which interests you while you're sightseeing).

First Stop: Yee Shun Dairy Company

They do have branches all over in Hong Kong as well.

We actually went to two branches in Macau, surprisingly we were treated with different sights. The pictures above were what we ordered in the branch nearby Senado Square, Macau.

Here's the ones we ordered in 381 Avenida de Almeida Rebeilo.

Note the absence of the top skin from the one in Senado Square, and there was I thinking whether the ones in Macau are different from the ones in Hong Kong.

Also comparing the two pork chop buns, not only the meat patty tasted different, even the buns they used were different as well. These all totally caught us of guard!

Overall, I would suggest the latter branch. :)

Second Stop: Poon Vai Kei

This shop is next to the Come Buy milk tea shop, which is located on the way up to Ruins of Church Facade. If you have a hard time locating this shop, try finding the milk tea shop then.

I've been a big fan of creme brulee and so I picked the ones in the egg shell for a try. It tasted so good! I had an extra puff to satisfy my large appetite for desserts. I would definitely recommend you to drop by this bakery if you manage to locate it.

Third Stop: Come Buy Milk Tea Shop

I had drinks there for twice, the original pearl milk tea and lychee drink. You can actually find cheaper milk tea shops around there. I'm not highly recommending you to visit there, but it's said to be quite a famous milk tea shop in Taiwan.

Now Cafe - Macao

I personally think I'm not very good at words, so I'll just skip the sightseeing part in Macao and go straight to the food part. :) During our second night there, I suggested to have Portuguese cuisine.

Again, we all had their dinner set meal and ordered a bottle of wine. The dinner set meal was $78-$88 per person and the bottle of wine was only $150.

The concept of the restaurant's really young, well you can almost tell that from the name of the cafe. Pictures are hung around the cafe, creating a really artsy feel inside there. The lady boss of the cafe was friendly and helpful as well, even when we said we wanted the cheapest wine they had! :P

The dinner set meal included only a soup and a main course. One sad thing about this cafe is that they don't serve desserts! :(

We all definitely enjoyed our meal. I would love to linger around the cafe for a longer time but everyone seemed to be in a hassle to go to the casinos. So we quickly finished the wine, took a picture and off we left.

I tried finding this restaurant on Google but failed. So I'll roughly give you the directions.

In Senado Square (Macau), find yourself the Starbucks or the McDonalds. McDonalds is actually just opposite Starbucks, next to McDonalds you'll find an alley going uphill. Take that alley and you'll find lots of concept restaurants. Now Cafe is one of them, it would be on the right hand side on the alley.

I guess it should be easy to spot the restaurant once you get the right alley! :)

Hong Kong Disneyland II

Well, let's just jump right into the food part in Disneyland. We had early dinner in the Corner Cafe on the Main Street. Us girls actually did some survey on the other restaurants to get the best deal! We settled in here 'cause of the somewhat affordable dinner set meal.

Me and Cai Jin both had a three-course dinner set meal. The food was above my expectation! I was actually prepared for some crappy-taste food which comes with a hefty price tag. However, that wasn't the case, I almost wanted to lick my plate, because the sauce wasn't enough! :P

We didn't get to choose the dessert and so no mickey-shaped desserts for us! Boo! :(

Still the cake wasn't disappointing. :)

Debra had soup noodle since she was having a slight sore throat that day, blame Hong Kong's weather for that. One moment ago it's sunny then the next thing you get a cold, breezy air coming right into your face! So anyone who's planning to come over to Hong Kong for holidays, please be prepare for such weather. :)

After the daily firework show, we made a stop to have some waffles.

My words? I will definitely drop by Disneyland again! :) Perhaps during the non-peak period since I'm staying here now.

Now let me bring you guys to the land of fairytale, Disneyland! :) I never really thought of going to the Disneyland in Hong Kong because I've heard a lot of bad reviews on it, such as long queues, childish rides and its small theme park. Since Cai Jin invited me to join her and Debra for a day there, I gave Hong Kong Disneyland a chance. :)

Surprisingly, I had tonnes of fun! :D I even felt like spending another day there. Well that's just me, I'm a sucker for everything being Disney-ish.

Chubby me

We took the MTR to Disneyland. The interior of the train was superb, sofa seats, Mickey-shaped rings and windows. Definitely a pleasant ride.

Glad to have the two big sisters to have all things planned out! EHEHE!

While we were waiting for Golden Mickey, a stage show. The waiting time was less than 20 minutes and since the hall could accommodate a huge crowd, as long as you arrive there 10-15 minutes before the showtime, you'll be able to get in.

The staffs actually sang the song, instead of playing the tape. Amazing I would say! Especially the guy who did the Hunchback of Notre Dame. :) Cai Jin told me that he was actually singing live and I doubt a little at that time, until the next performance came up.

I attended the everyone-must-go parade. Enjoy the pictures!

So after the parade we manage to catch a few rides by rushing to the Tomorrowland before the queue started to form. :) Had an early dinner there as well, again to avoid the crowd.

Tim Ho Wan, Mongkok

I woke up exceptionally early for this famous dim sum shop. It's called Tin Ho Wan, located in Mongkok area. This shop is world's cheapest Michellin-starred restaurant and hence, that explains the crowd of people.

Me, Cai Jin and Debra arrived at 10.15am, a quarter past their opening time. That quarter late, made us waited for almost one hour. While we waited for our seats, we were given a sheet of paper to tick our orders. That waiting time made us ticked almost all the dishes they had there. Best thing about this restaurant is that all the dim sum are freshly made.

Now let's make the pictures do the talking.

These are the normal dim sum dishes that we ordered. When you're outside of the shop, you'll get to see tonnes of newspaper reviews of the shop with pretty pictures, that helps you while you're ticking your order away.

Now the best seller and must-order in Tim Ho Wan, introducing their Char Siew Pau.

Instead of your normal steam pau, here they bake it. The pau tasted like mini roti boy but with bbq pork filling. Your travel and waiting time spent will not be justified if you miss this out!

Lastly, girls and their desserts. We had Kwai Fa Gou.

The bill came up to only $147. It's is cheaper compared to some of the restaurants serving dim sum in Hong Kong, well that's if you're willing to wait. Kai Lee and the bunch went at 10.30am recently and they had to wait for almost 2 hours. Crazy much!

Daddie say I should include the address of the restaurant after my reviews and so here's the address for Tim Ho Wan.

Kai Lee fell sick today and so we had some simple food in a random restaurant around Kwong Wa Street, Mongkok. Turned out the food tasted really good, way above my expectation!

Since there was 5 of us, we ordered 5 dishes. $43 per person and this included rice, a dish of your choice, a hot drink and soup of the day. For cold drinks, they charge an additional of $2.

These were the dishes that was on their menu today. I just had to skip all the posts and blog on this shop 'cause I think that it was really good! It's a few shops down Tin Ho Wan, the dim sum shop that I going to blog about soon. I tried finding the shop's name on Open Rice but I don't seem to see any shops nearby Tin Ho Wan being reviewed.

The Night After Finals

We walked miles for this. Searching for this place using both the ol' school and modern way, a map and an iPhone. To me, it's tasted the same like any other stalls, maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of these kind of food.

I had two rounds of desserts with the ladies while they had another one in Tong Pak Fu after I left.

We tried something small from Hui Lau Shan since we wanted to save some tummy spaces for more desserts. It was yummy, but then I still think Hui Lau Shan is slightly overpriced sometimes. But then again, all desserts in Hong Kong are quite pricey. :P

Chong So at Causeway Bay. I had to bring the girls there since it's my favourite desserts place after all. These were what we ordered.

I've forgotten all the names of the desserts. Perhaps I should jot it down next time! :) After these two rounds, Kar Men left while we headed to Tsim Sha Tsui's Star of Avenue to grab our Disneyland entrance tickets.

I'm still working hard on my scenery shots, plus this was taken under a condition with low light. So it's kinda sucky. :(

Then, to mark the end of finals. I went over to Lan Kwai Fong to join my uni mates.

It was a good night and it ended with good food as well.

We had supper at a shop in Wan Chai. I was too tired to remember the name of the restaurant, but I'll definitely drop by there again to get some good food and blog about this shop!

That's all for this post! Yes I'm aware that it was a really long night for me, but I still manage to wake up at 7 the next morning catch a dim sum breakfast with Debra and Cai Jin.

This restaurant is under Castello Concepts, I didn't know that this is an international company until I googled it! Other than Jaspa's, I've also been to Pepperoni's which is also under the same company. I haven't blog about Pepperoni's because I haven't manage to take any pictures during my visits there. This is the legal cheat sheet that I've been working on the whole afternoon. The temperature dropped below 10 degree celsius today. Me being unprepared, wrapped myself only with a long tee, singlet and a knitwear. While I was walking down the hallway I already regretted for not wearing a scarf.

First paper was alrighty. Much thanks to the cheat sheet I guess. It was a 3-hour paper but I finished it within 2 hours. Well since it's business stats, so it's either you know the answer or you don't. I manage to answer all the questions so I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Then on the way back, I almost died. The wind was so strong and when it blew on me, I just ~~died inside~~ couldn't take it, was so tempted to go down to Uniqlo and get a bomber jacket. Now, I'm starting to think how am I ever going to survive in Korea during January.

Done ~~slacking~~ updating, now me shall find some food and start on my revision. :)

I got so sick of spending 24 hours in my room that I went out to Hang Hao for MOS burger today. Since I'm not much in a mood to update about my crab-eating experience, let me bore you guys with what I did today and the pictures I took.

Ordered Yakiniku (Beef Teriyaki) Rice Burger, was a bit messy but still delicious. :) Pampered my tummy with fries and soft drink, very unhealthy, i know. After my scrumptious meal, I headed over to Pacific Coffee Company to meet up Ronny and did my revision there.

Yes, I'm taking Greek as my language course. Ancient greek which is practically useless. :P

Told mama that rain's expecting to fall tomorrow and the temperature is suppose to drop till 9 degree celcius. So mama asked me to get the HeatTech shirt from Uniqlo.

Also I got Lioele's blackhead clear and facial cotton. Since I'm not a person who does make up and so, having an okay skin condition is pretty important to me. I just checked up online on this brand just now and I see that pretty much of the girls actually uses their cosmetic stuffs. I'll do a review on the blackhead clear once I'm free. Shall end this post in my favourite way, a style shot.

So, I'm having my study break right now. Finals will be on this coming Thurs, Fri, Sat and the following week's Monday. Yes, exam's on Saturday. :( Tell me how depressing is that, and so to cure it, I bought two ~~freaking~~ packets of Snickers! I used to eat a bar of Kit Kat everyday when I was preparing for SPM. :P

While I was finishing my last few pages of Management textbook yesterday, this happened.

Busted! It was half past 3 in the middle of the night, and I was explaining to my dad the need of staying up late for my Management. :)

Also, I'm getting old.

Me: Hey, you having holiday now?

Bro: Of course lah, it's December!

Thousand apologies for that dumb question, never would I ever thought of asking that question at this age. And yes, it's already Decemeber, that explains the trench coat worn. :P

It's so cold here, that I'm frequently getting cold hands and feet. I can't imagine myself dealing with snow! D; To be frank, I edited the photo by using healing brush on my face. I need mama's soup to heal the pimple scars! Stupid scars, you're keeling me!

Oh and one more funny thing. So this year must have been the healthiest year since I was born. Frequent visits to the gym to make sure my tummy won't bulge too much. Other than running on the treadmill, I did some light weightlifting stuff. The story starts when I used this one machine for the thigh, then when I wanted to rotate the weight for my left leg, I didn't know how to. :( So I'm having this psychological effect whereby thinking that my right thigh is firmer than my left.

Imma get some tips the next time I drop by the gym to avoid such embarassment. :P By the way, I had my first hairy crab in Hong Kong yesterday! Will blog about it soon, and till then xoxo.

The almighty boots which I got from H&M. When I spotted it in the Central's outlet when I was coming down using the escalator, I knew that I can't miss this purchase. So off I hunted for my size then dump it into the shopping bag. Lucky for me, I used the 20% off app voucher and so it only costed me $300+.

So yesterday was the last day of my semester. To reward myself, I went to Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong for good food even though it wasn't weekend yet. I'm going to force myself to stay in this weekend to finish up my syllabus and also to save some moolah. I gotta say, time passes really quickly, some friends are already back in Malaysia while I'm still here working my butt off. :(

Just skyped with mama and brobie this morning. Did some really stupid stuff like dancing with a strawberry to We No Speak Americano for my brother. Yep, I do crazy stuffs sometimes, don't be deceive by my look.

Christmas' here soon, just booked a table for the eve. :)

Squeezing all the as much Biochem stuffs as I could right now for the Monday's paper. Then I have to finish off a vid for one of my courses. Slides to be done tomorrow for my Greek presentation which will also be on Monday.

Then three assignments due this Wednesday. One's almost done by one of my awesome friend, Daga. The other two would be a Management report for my Language for Business course and an Information System and Operation Management assignment.

Much work so will not update till I'm done with all of those!

The first time I spent such a long time in the library since mid terms ended. My butt was stuck to the library's chair for i-don't-know how long till I finish 12 slides for a 8-minute presentation. Why did it took me so long? So basically I was doing pictures for every single word on the slide so that I get to use the fonts I want. Now, I'm just scared that the animation wouldn't work on the classroom's pc.

Instead of having MOS burger, I joined Phraveen for dinner at uni's cafe.

Huan just left HK today. I brought him to Mongkok yesterday for my favourite Char Chan Teng and made him try Zha Liong!

We spent two days hunting around H&M for Nana's boots. :) One thing I learnt about H&M is that if you like it, you grab it! It might still be there for the second time you hunt for it, but definitely not the third time! Well, that applies to the affordable tops, not accessories or those tops which are priced $300 and above. :P

hopefully it's all worth it.

After a day out in Central with Yuan Hui, I rushed back to campus to get ready for Yi Wei's birthday dinner. It was held at May's Sawaddee Restaurant, a Thai restaurant in Sai Kung.

Turned out, there was a really huge crowd and so me and Colin decided to pair up and share some of the dishes.

Our Papaya salad, it was super spicy but I love the crunchy peanuts in it!

Chicken curry in bread. *nom nom nom* What can I say, I love it! Especially when I had it with the Kung Fu rice.

After that heavy meal, we still manage to have froyo as desserts! To my dismay, Mr Froyo tasted so different than the last time I had it. It was icy rather than milky, wasted $36 on it! :(

Anyhoo, after adventuring around Sai Kung, waiting for the bus for 20 minutes only to realise the line has ended after 11pm, we caught a taxi and headed back to campus. That pretty much sums up the night! :)

Screwed up my accounting quiz really badly, results were already out although I just sat the paper yesterday. Sorry papa and mama! :( I really need to buck up for my finals and finish up the assignments and projects!

I headed out for my good food weekend and to also pick up a birthday present for my friend. I forgot to use the H&M 20% phone voucher *smacks self*! Checked out the stores, and spotted H&M x Lanvin on the street and a girl in the shop, holding 3 big paper bags of the items! Got a glimpse on my favourite dress from the collection. Everything's basically wiped out! I'm not surprised since the people here are willing to spend on branded stuffs, VERY willing.

I had my dinner at Langham Place, Mongkok after browsing through the stuffs in H&M and Monki. Headed up to the level 4, it's my first time going up even though I've been to the mall countless times. I picked Match Too Cafe to dine in.

They have really quirky menu, I likey. :)

I had their Beef Fillet and Truffle served with Italian Rice. It's the dish right behind the cover page. Not quite sure did I remember the name correctly. :P Frankly speaking, it isn't really a cheap place. Plus I need to say is that their dinner set isn't cheaper than the ala carte at all. Basically they add on the drink with the main course's price and calls it a dinner set. I wasn't really satisfied with the way they did it and so I just ordered in the ala carte way.

It was really nice, though the beef's a bit dry. Very filling as the Italian rice is creamy. Service there is below average though I would say. However, it's still a nice place for you to visit after you do your shopping in Langham. There's also a mini food court at the same level, consists of only 4 vendors. One of them is Pepper Lunch. :)

After the dinner, I went to Fa Yuen street. This is the first time of me being there during the night time. First thing that I got there was cherries! :D Mama has been always asking me to get fruits since I got here. I had bananas because I'm a lazy person. The cherries was $35 for 1 pound. I don't know whether was I conn, 'cause I've never bought fruits before. :P But I saw two stalls putting up the same price and so I got it in the end. Then, one of my purchase tonight was two pair of flats for only $100! :) I was actually wanting two oxford shoes for $130 but the sizes were too big for me.

Well, my main purpose to drop by Fa Yuen was to get my all-time favourite gai dan zai but I ended up leaving with loads of cheap stuffs. Like there was this stall which was having 50% off all their accessories. I got a medium size mirror to put on my table for only $30! :) Everytime I really shop at Fa Yuen I always manage to get a good deal, that explains why I love going there. Oh, just for an update, the shop which sells curry fishball that I major love, has already closed down. :(

Now directions time! To get to Langham, just get off at the Mongkok MTR station and take the Langham exit. For Fa Yuen street, also get off at the same station, take exit B. Supposingly you should pass through the tunnel and come out of the station. From there, take the escalator and you'll be on the pedestrian bridge. Then just follow the directions. :) On handy tips, to avoid the traffic light and crowd, sometimes you can get to different places within an area through the different exits in the MTR station. Just get the exits right ok? :)

That's one huge investment there I would say. Got mine 'cause the university was having this carnival fair and this was selling at a really low price compared to the online prices. I just went through a few tutorial videos and yep, definitely going to learn a few skills when I'm free.

I just screw up my quiz really badly just now even though I did prepare myself early this time. Totally disappointed with myself and felt really bad. I had Devilled Chicken in the campus cafe to keep my spirit up while having this informal meeting with my friends for the Accounting group assignment which is due on the last day of the semester. I'm trying to be ahead of the due dates of all the projects and assignments nowadays.

Weather's been quite cold recently. I've been putting on my fluffy socks for a few days in a row, comfy much and it's definitely a good purchase. I missed out the H&M x Lanvin release since I was almost suffocated by the amount of assignments and uni stuff. Heard from a friend that the line appears like it didn't exist even by the afternoon on the day of the launch itself. I wouldn't doubt my friend since I read a few tweets saying that people have been queueing up in front of H&M the night before the launch itself.

Okay enough for the updates for today. Back to hit the books! :)

Today I was so desperate for Malaysian food that I started to look up on restaurants which serves it on Open Rice. Open Rice is a website which is popular among the locals as a guide for the restaurants around Hong Kong. I settled with the Sabah Malaysian Cuisine after going through all the reviews.

As usual, I went for my meal alone. It was a spontaneous plan so most of them either couldn't make it or thinks that it's too far.

I picked Nasi Lemak from the menu as I didn't have anyone else to share with if I ordered dishes. I saw a few familiar dishes like sweet and sour chicken and butter prawn. Thinking of it makes me wanna drool right now. :) From the review, their roti canai was given thumbs up as well, maybe next time I'll get it.

Back to Nasi Lemak, it was heavenly awesome! :) Spicy for a Malaysian's taste bud, peanuts were yummeh, only the cococnut rice's isn't dry enough. Overall, it was still perfect just that I don't remember our Nasi Lemak back home was served with tomatoes. Nonetheless, I still love it! It costed me $66 including 10% service charge. After conversion, it's somewhat the price of having Nasi Lemak in Madam Kwan's, so I think it's worth it.

Another good food weeekend for me. :) Those who's been following me on Twitter would have know where I had my dinner at last night. Yep, Fat Angelo's it is. I googled up the location before heading there and realise they actually have restaurants in other countries as well.

The birthday girl, Nikika. She's been a really nice friend from my course, jolly and definitely lovable!

We went for the Fat Angelo's in Causeway Bay, got there by MTR and went for exit C. Then from the exit turn left, from the junction you'll see the sign at your 11 o'clock. :)

Not much of food pictures were taken since everyone shared the food. So before I start taking pictures of it, my friends have already indulged themselves in the food. It's tad pricey if you were to order one main course for each person. For 13 people, we shared two pizzas, a risotto, a pasta and two starters. The bill came up to around $900. It's was alright when the amount was divided. :) By the way, they also serve complimentary salads and breads. Free refill for it too! Say YAY to the word FREE!

Shopping after a hefty meal is definitely a must when you're in HK. We went over to Sogo, which was only a walking distance and started hunting for winter wear. It's was super packed over there as Sogo's having their anniversary sale. I didn't really find any thing 'cause I didn't really know about the brands.

Tommy Hilfiger on the other hand, having their polos sold at only $190 per piece, which is less than RM100. Me being me, not much of a polo wearer, I manage to stop myself from getting it. :) I did find a jacket from there quite cute though, but it's tad expensive so I passed. Next Longchamp, they were having promotions on their Planete, but all the units were already sold out by the time I was there. And that's why I went home empty-handed.

Well, to end such a relaxing night, how can we miss desserts? I saw this shop on the way to Sogo from Fat Angelo's and so I suggested to have Double-Skin Milk there. Trust me, it's awesome! Well the one I had in China was better but this was nice too! Definitely worth a stop if you're in Causeway Bay.

Yee Shun has branches around Hong Kong and also in Macao. They have all sorts of desserts which uses milk as their main ingredient. Prices for HK desserts were never cheap, for the famous double-skin milk it's $21.

This weekends onwards, university life is going to be really hectic. My first quiz after mid terms is coming up this week. It's so stress to think that finals is in less than a month. :( AHHH, really wanna get through all this ASAP.

Still lazy to blog about the Cheung Chao trip, will do it soon. I promise. Tonight, guess I'm gonna pass the movie plans and get my all stuffs done. Yesterday night was epic, I stepped foot for the first time into Hong Kong Coliseum for Dayo Wong Tze Wah's stand up comedy talk show. I understood 93% of the show. Out of the 7%, I didn't because some of it was some local terms and also at some point I shut off my brain for the excess canto intake. :D

I've definitely gained weight and a tummy here. :( Need to exercise regularly so I don't feel bad about my own body. A cut on diet is also necessary as I've been eating excessively, like seriously.

I understand, just that I wish you could.

Well, I would need to get back to the my usual stuffs now. Yesterday night was alright with the free food from cocktail party but ended up spending money chilling with friends in TST. :) I finally met my mentor after he officially became my mentor. HAHAH! Which also means I actually met him once during the interview for it. :) Had a nice chat on all the brands stuff in HK and how do they actually work. Well, I gotta say I actually digged a few stuffs from him. :)

I just re-read the e-mail for the cocktail party tonight. Apparently they changed the dress code, I'm screwed. As previously they allowed semi-formal, so I got myself a sweater instead of heels, dress and the make up stuffs yesterday night. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Lucky my I got myself a bargain at H&M when Huan was in HK last time. HKD100 for a dress, but it's not really a little black dress so right now I have the urge to go H&M and get a trench but no, I can't be that crazy or can I? :)

One more thing, I have no heels. EHEHE! Most of the people who know me, knows that I'm not a heel person. I wear flats or sneakers to club, talk about being sexy! :P So yeah, right now, I'm waiting for my senior's reply, hopefully I could get a pair of proper heels from her.

Okay, I over-using pics of me in my pwetty purple wool cardigan. :)

So good things happened today. I miss Milo cereal so so much! :( Lucky me, my friend had a chance to go back to Malaysia during her weekend after the midterms and so I asked her for the cereal. :) Just had a bowl of it with cold milk, YUMMEH! :D

I just came back from a long walk to the 7 Eleven which is off campus. I was suppose to come back feeling skinneh and healthy but I ended up with a tummy filled of apple juice with aloe vera. Another crazy and random thing I do it once in a while. Well these short walks ain't gonna help much, I need to start to hit the gym regularly, yes I know I've been saying this thousand times. EHEHE!

One major thing that happened which really made me glow today, I was chosen to be one of the Top 20 World's Coolest Interns. I didn't really expect myself to be chosen as the others who were shortlisted have such solid work experience or background. Unlike me, I'm just a blogger who's contented with her number of daily visitors. :) Anyway, thank you so so so much for those who helped me by retweeting and sharing my link on Twitter and Facebook. You guys are the ones who contributed to my success. :)

Now, I need to start to work on a video. This time, you guys can help me in two ways. By sharing the video which I'm gonna post it up on Facebook, hopefully tomorrow. Look at what the mid term stress has given to the right side of my face. :( Just got my biochemistry results back, got below mean this time, which also says that I did worst than the previous time. As for my Greek test, everyone's in the ninety range while I only got a 76. Well, I don't really feel so down as last time. To me, I'm starting to look at my university life in a different way.

I've been at the top for too long and I don't use to be so hyped about studying as I used to anymore. For me, university life is the last 3 years for me to enjoy before I step into my first career. I've set myself a limit, to fulfill my part as a student, maintain my scholarship and most importantly not to disappoint my parents. Other than that, I'm just gonna sit back relax and have fun while I still can. I'm not going to do much of the last minute studying anymore, have fun and study hard at the same time, strike a balance I would say.

You tend to be always in a part of a group when you're in university, let's say a group project which last throughout your semester. So the end of the mid terms doesn't really signify an end to my stress anyway. I still have an executive summary for the marketing competition which is due this Saturday and a course group project which is suppose to be done by the end of this month. Dealing with people is a thing that you'll learn when you're in university. Like what xianhui told me before I came to HKUST, you don't really get a clique when you're in a uni 'cause your classmates change from semester to semester. Well, I find it quite true but in my case I consider myself lucky as I only have 42 course mates who I know all of them and we'll be having our tough times together for the next 3 years. Also, for my friends, they aren't from the same class with me. We text and have random meals and talks together when we meet. :) Let's just say I'm contented for having a few familiar faces to hangout with.

I gotta admit that I'm not performing well here, some part of it I blame myself for being over-confident. I've gave up comparing myself to the others. Let me give an insight why, 80% and above of the people here are actually scoring full marks most of the time, it's insane but that's the way they roll here. I'm not sure if that's what they define uni life, as in to score only good grades and get crazily involve with the societies' activities, like having a meeting throughout the night and not having sleep for it. I'm not saying that it's wrong for you to score full marks, if you're smart then yea, but if you actually get a 99 and complain about it, well, you get what I mean.

LKF suddenly doesn't seem so appealing to me anymore for this weekend. I feel like skype-ing throughout my night, have a tight sleep and wake up when the sun shines on my butt. I know that won't happen as there won't be anyone with me to Skype with and I'll get calls during the weekends. :P

If you wanna ask, what happen to my weekly good food weekends? I've been having good food on the most random days now and even overspending on it. Just last night, I skipped lunch and had a hefty dinner which costs me $143. I'm so sick of the campus food and I tend to have the urge to go out and have some nice food most of the time. I have a lot of self-control on that, if not I would have been broke by now. :)

All I have to say is, everything's gonna change from now onwards and I have to start to get use to it. I hope for the best and pray hard that I don't screw up anything.

Just to show you guys that the winter mood is slowly seeping in. On a random note, I'm having good food tonight with Ronny! :) Also, my last paper's tomorrow and lemme just say hi to November here too.

2 months and 6 days to go then I'll be back in Malaysia, having the awesome local food and mom's cooking! Can't wait but until that happens I have to go through my finals first.

I'm already so over the phase when I dread to chop off my fringe. Now I'm comfortable with it, just that I get a tad bit bored with my hairstyle at times. Yin Shi just commented on my tweet, curls or bangs, that I should get my bangs back. Well, I'll have my bangs when I'm back in Malaysia then! :D Wouldn't wanna risk my hair with the hairstylists here.

I'm sick and that sucks. :( That's the fluffeh socks that I mentioned on my tweet recently. :D Today's weather was really nice, I went out for lunch in Hang Hao alone as I needed porridge instead of the fried food at the cafe or the oily food down in the other cafeterias. So again, I took the mini bus, sun shone on my skin and I felt great! Hahaha! That's how easily satisfied I am sometimes.

Mid terms are gonna end in 2 days time. Then we party this weekend people. :) Been saying no to my friends' invitation for the past 3 weeks and missing out the Halloween party. It's good though as long as there're friends to be with, what celebrations or events doesn't really bother me.

Just can't wait for these 2 days to pass by soon. V.C's not coming over here so soon neways, just hoping he'll keep his promise. *fingers cross* :)

One of those days that I would prefer to have some of my own time. :) So yea, after I ended my classes, I hopped on the the mini bus and headed down to Hang Hao for MOS burger. I'm addicted to it, this is my second time having it in a week. Surprisingly I tried different burgers everytime I went there, well I tend to stick to my usual choices most of the time. Till now, I've already had 4 different types. Today I picked Teriyaki Chicken burger, it was soooooo OH-SUM! :D

Well, I wasn't all alone there though. Coincidentally bumped into Rebecca and her friend there. :)

Burgers are healthy for me, it's one of the ways to make myself eat vegetables. Today my outfit was of a softer tone of colours, so not me but it's definitely a good change.

Weather's been getting kinda cold here. I just got myself a purple sweater from H&M after a night out with the girls yesterday. I wanna get another grey one though, but it ain't cheap so still thinking whether do I really need it.

After the shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui, I suggested for some Char Chan Teng experience in Mongkok. I had Zha Liong again, it's a Hong Kong food where they use Chee Cheong Fun skin to wrap up the Yao Char Kuai, a bowl of heart-warming porridge and soya bean drink.

Two nights ago, I had my first friend to visit me in Hong Kong. Thanks to Huan, I finally had a proper Mandarin conversation after such a long time. Makes me feel like I'm back in Malaysia, definitely worth skipping a night of revision just to catch up with a Malaysian. :)

Love the way how there isn't awkward silence between us. ♥

World's Coolest Intern

Ok, most of you guys have been hearing my ranting about how competitive the locals are right here. For me, I've actually been thinking of applying for internships for this upcoming winter as well. Crazy right? I know! Mixing around with most of the people here has kinda set me in the mood of finding a job and get a taste of what it's like to get your hard earn money.

Lucky me, being a proud nuffnanger, I came across this announcement on their site. It's a tad late for me to compete with those who has prepared or spreaded their blogpost or youtube vids way long time ago. Although having that disadvantage, I'm not that worried as I pretty sure I'm the coolest of them all. *cough* And to prove that, my beloved friends, stalkers and readers, please bear with me for this ~~narcissistic~~ post.

Why am I cool enough for the intern?

1.You're currently reading a not so-ordinary-girl's blog. The girl who's currently studying in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, taking up the most elite course in Hong Kong, BBA Global Business. Mention it to anyone from Hong Kong about this course, and they'll go waaaa! :D

Here's how you differentiate me. Who the hell actually thinks of studying in HK!? :) Yep, the crazy girl is me. I'm different and different is cool. Okay, that's abit forceful to put those two words together but anyhoo, the cool word is frequently being misused by the youngsters nowadays. :P

2. I own a Twitter, Facebook and a blog. DUH! :D I used to own a blogshop when I was back in Malaysia. I find my own way to promote my blog on different platforms, deal with nasty customers and juggle my time between college and the blog shop.

I'm passionate about fashion and so I tend to think out of the box instead of doing things following the norm. I am not the regular business student in a black suit that you find everywhere, I am the one who fits for the coolest intern that you're offering.

3. Moving on, I'm planning to pick Marketing. Being the reason is that I love knowing what's going on with the market that we're dealing with and what do we have to change to adapt with it. Or we decide to initiate a difference letting our competitors being our followers, which is what Breeze is doing right now. Constantly brain-storming on new plans, improvising the old ones, is an exciting task to deal with everyday. I'm a efficient team player and leader, a good listener and criticizer. I challenge and set targets for myself instead of sitting there waiting to be delegated. Ok, this paragraph kinda bores me too. :(

4. After all the readings on business stuffs, I bet that most of you think that I'm a newbie to technology stuff. Well, I can't fully deny it but I can confidently say that I'm one of the quickest learner that you'll every meet. I manage to figure out HTML on my own without any help. Now, please that's cool, pretty please. :)

5. Plus point for me! I get readers far from my home like the Sates, Sweden and sometimes Norway. HAHAHA! I think that I manage to do so as I have a Lookbook account. Now that's another thing cool about me!

I won't say I'll be the best person with all the qualifications needed by Breeze when compared to all the competitors out there. Anyhoo, I can guarantee that I'm the coolest person that anyone would like to meet and work with. Today officially marks the 2nd month of me being here. I've almost settled down here, with a bunch of good friends to hangout and have fun with. Yet, sometimes I do prefer being on my own, taking the public transport going all the way down to the city centre. It's far and takes me almost an hour to get to those places like Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok, Causeway Bay or even Central. Anyhoo, everything turns out well as the security and public transportation is Hong Kong is so much better and reliable when compared to Malaysia.

Still dealing with the mid terms stress and some assignments which are due this week. Also, 'cause I was being a bit gatal, I joined one of the marketing competition and now I have to submit an executive summary which is due next Saturday.

So yesterday's weather was really good, if it wasn't for the workshop I could have sleep in. Had milk and cereal for breakfast and then headed to Chinese University of Hong Kong in Sha Tin for the workshop. Me and Rebecca left the workshop before it ended and headed to the mall in Sha Tin for lunch. I had this sudden craving for KFC yesterday and so we settled there. The variaties of sets in Hong Kong's KFC is so much wider and better than the ones in Malaysia. I had a curry chicken pocket, a piece of chicken, rice with mushroom sauce, Portugese tart and a drink for around HKD40. Superbly satisfied with it, definitely finger licking good. :D

After lunch, I went to TST early for Alex's birthday party. Since I was an hour early, I went over to the H&M on Canton Rd for a peek. Left there without anything then went back to the MTR station to meet my course mates. The birthday dinner was held at Charlie Brown's Cafe. Food and drinks prices there were tad expensive. Plus, this is based on my personal experience, the waiters there were quite rude to us throughout the whole night. Not only you get the whole Hongkie cocky attitude, basically they were just being prejudice to us. URGHH! So much for being a tourist attraction. I couldn't bothered giving them a smile when I was talking to them afterwards.

The tea tasted abit weird when it was first served, after it was kinda cooled down it tasted better. :) The hot cake was really dry. Not satisfying at all. :( This dinner costs me around HKD56. Well, it's considered reasonable for such theme cafe I guess.

If you're really a big fan of Snoopy or Charlie Brown, I would say that it's a nice place to drop by. Just ignore my comment on the waiters there as the cafe runs on a self-service mode. So basically if you're come in a small group, they won't piss you off. :) Click here for more of their outlets. For the one that I went to, you can get there by getting off at the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and exit at the Exit B2. Turn left once you're out of the exit and after a 2-3 minutes walk, you'll see their LED board on the right hand side of the street.

When the stress kicks in, find ways to release it. My way, it includes having good food and shopping. Well I did both of them in one night.

I had hotpot today with the Koreans, Japanese and Spanish guys. :D

It costs me $48 but it was definitely worth it. The soup was so yummy that I almost finish it! :) Ended up with a bulging tummy again. Then I headed to Central alone for H&M. I got myself some formal wears for tomorrow. Also, preparing myself for the coming winter, I got this scarf which wasn't on sale but I really wanted it so yea, I splurged. Other than that, the jeans and skirt I bought was only $70 and $50. They had some dresses tagged $100, I was so tempted to get it but yeah, I manage to stop myself and also I'm so proud that I actually put a top back 'cause I figured out I didn't really need one. :D

H&M in Central, the largest H&M store in Hong Kong. You can get there by the Central MTR Station and have a 3-5 minutes walk after getting out from the Exit D2.

I just realise the jacket that's been with me every night is already more than 6 years old. Back then, when I was in my secondary school, I always thought owning a Body Glove jacket was a cool thing. I remember myself begging mama to buy me this jacket. Who knew that it's now my favourite companion to bed these days. :)

Look at how things have change, from Body Glove I switch to Mango. My love for Mango has never stop just that I usually go for their stuffs when it's on sale. I can say that, you'll never go wrong or uncomfortable with Mango jeans. NEVER, and I feel lucky 'cause I made the right choice to alter almost all my Mango jeans before I came over here. Right now, I just slip on any pair of it and hop off to classes without the hassle to fold it up.

Okay, that was just super random. HAHA! Back to the updates on my daily life. I just went over to Hang Hao again, I know, for MOS burger. OMAIGOD MAMA, sho OH-sum! :) Not sure what happen to me, I bought two boxes of facial masks. I'm not a person who puts on facial masks regularly and I also find applying toner and moisturiser after cleansing a hassle. Now, tell me, why did I bought the masks again!? LOL! Also, instead of getting my favourite Euphoria by CK. I bought two mini perfumes, Cheap and Chic by Moschino and Be Delicious by DKNY. I major love the Moschino's scent, maybe I'll get a proper bottle of it when I can finally afford it. :)

Yesterday night, I almost died rushing an assignment. I was mentally raped. LOL! Lucky for me, a Ping! message saved my life. :D Also, had a Skype session with Ju-Hann when I was having my lunch in the cafe. Odd but it was definitely nice catching up with him! Let's not miss out his girlfriend Amanda as well, we did chat and talk about Malaysian foods that we miss. Apparently, I'm going back to Malaysia too late. Well, I'm kinda filled in for the night I land and the next day itself. :)

I can't wait for mid term to end and someone to come over here. Neways, wish me luck people so that you don't need to read my rants about my sucky results here!

BOO YAHHH! I manage to find my keys! :D I was the happiest kid on earth when I found it despite having to pay the exorbitant amount of phone bill.

Mom and dad's been really nice. Even though I've been spending so much of food stuffs they still ask me whether do I have enough money. Truth is, I have more than enough as long as I don't buy random stuffs. :) Thanks mom and dad!

Just had another random walk with Asta around the campus just now.Caught up a little since we don't see each other often even for meals. Other than that, life as usual, is very stressful over here. Yep, mid terms coming up soon and so I gotta get back to my books.

Okay, you can't just expect everything to go well. I did something stupid today by losing my keys. FML :/ Mom and dad's definitely going to skype tomorrow and screw me up. GEEZ.

Days been good by facing book everyday, the actual book. Tonight, I'm rushing to finish up my assignment since I was moodless to go out and do it with Phraveen just now. Mid term war is officially ON on next Wednesday, please please please don't make me feel like the dumbest person on earth again.

Been splurging much on food, as usual. I forgot to bring my camera out for the both awesome meals I had for the last two days. Pokka Cafe at Hang Hao, has a really nice interior design. Food price starts off from HKD50 and above for a proper main course. I had their curry beef omelette with rice, it tasted superbly nice. :) Price was tad pricey though, roughly HKD80+. Lucky for me, Ronny has a discount of 20% off the bill.

Then yesterday, I went out to Causeway Bay for shabu shabu with Xiang Hui and a couple of friends. Another luxury meal I would say, it was HKD138 per person for unlimited beef and some hotpot stuffs. Perfecto but then again, the bill came up to HKD174 per person after adding the drinks and tax. I had a few First experiences from yesterday's outing. :) First time bumping into a celeb in HK. Yep, he was having his meal in the same shop as us. Also, first time being in a car other than the taxis in HK. :D

Today, after the laundry and some readings. I met up with my host dad for a drink. All set for hiking after my mid terms, some healthy outdoor exercise finally. :)

It's my 50th day here. The collage was made from the photos taken by Photobooth. I'm starting to settle down here. Not using "it sucks here"to reply whenever people asks how am I doing in Hong Kong.

Midterms' starting from next week onwards and I'm no where near the phrase fully prepared. Let's just pray that I can stay far away from and above the mean mark this time.

Weather's slowly turning colder right now and I'm already switching from shorts to long jeans. Anyhoo, the weather today was perfect. Sunshine in the morning and it also wasn't too hot in the afternoon. Me and my friends went over to Po Lum for lunch at Chui Wah, one of the famous coffee shop chain in Hong Kong. Food price was tad pricey and the food I ordered today wasn't so nice either. I was having a bit heartache as I had to forked out so much money for a really bad food. :( BUT, I did enjoyed my meal the first time there and so this bad experience won't stop me from going there yet.

I manage to stay in the library with my books until the library was about to close tonight *pats self*. Also, pulled myself from the temptation for a karaoke session with the course mates. :)

This was a two-men portion from Ikea that I had with Phraveen yesterday night.

Our main course. Some chicken cutlet with pasta, we both had one each.

My ten pieces of meatballs served with potatoes instead of fries like what they do in Malaysia.

We shared out the chicken wings and mussels.

Amazingly I had two desserts to pamper myself. An apple pie and princess cake. :)

This are the plates we have when we were done, including Yi Wei's. We walked around and shopped for stuffs after that. Their outdoor area was so nice and we found out that they do have a place outdoor to dine in too. Next time we're so going there to diner instead of waiting for the indoor seats which are full almost all the time.

According to two of our friends, we are both of the same type. Both Malaysians and are tiny in size. LOL!

And so, after the adventure around Ikea, we were finding for some entertainment to pass time. Karaoke was in mind but it'll rip each of us $229 if we were to do so. The karaoke place was CEO, right at the top floor in Megabox. I think it's a better version of Neway, just like Red Box Plus and Red Box. So we changed our mind and set off for desserts again at Hang Hao.

I was in this desserts shop, Chong So for 2 days in a row. Prices would range roughly from $16 to $28. It's one of the nearest desserts shop from our university and they offer 10% off for HKUST's students. They operate right up till 2am.

Right before that, we coincidentally bumped into Ronny, Daniel and Asta at the MTR station. Yes, the desserts shop is nearby the MTR station too. :D

Friday night was awesome too. Dinner at MOS burger, something new to my taste bud then desserts, as mentioned earlier with the seniors. Late night chill was at the unibar after standing firm on my decision to not step foot into LKF. :D Met a few kakis there although it was only suppose to be a girls' night out for me and Asta.

All Malaysians, except for the both ends. A Korean and Taiwanese, but they both don't reside the countries according to their nationalities. And so, to be exact it would be a korean living in Malaysia and a Taiwanese born in US both currentlt living in Shanghai. :)

Thanks to the evil Malaysian seniors for the drinks. So yea, that was how I enjoyed my weekend. It's time to get back to the reality and buck up for my mid terms.

Today during one of my classes, our lecturer suggested us to wear some LOUD outfits. Well, I didn't exactly joined the crowd. Turns out only 4 people actually follow the theme. It was fun seeing them all dressed up anyways.

So apparently I am quite dumb over here. I hit the median for my accounting quiz. Seriously, I don't happen to say this often but FML to the max. :/ I'm not going to care about my weight anymore. I'm going to have more cookies, chips and milk to go through my revision time during night.

On a bright side of the note, yesterday, I just had my best meal over here in Hong Kong. It was a 4-course meal, right from appetizer to desserts for free. So much for being a Global Business student. :D Food was really nice as it was catered by our university's bistro. I had their baked potato skin there once and it tasted superb too. :)

Yea, back to the free food. It was served during the Global Leadership Forum. This forum was attended by all the Global Business students and I thought it was just one of those boring talks in a lecture hall at first. Turns out only the first part of it was a talk given by the CEO of the Cafe de Coral on management innovation and the rest was basically mingling around. Well, almost every table was seated one or two of the staffs from Cafe de Coral. No doubt, I had a fruitful talk with them.

Last note, it's bloody stressful over here and I can't wait to get over this semester.

I miss everything back home. My bed, wardrobe, lamp, purple and grey walls of my room and also my brother's wardrobe. I miss my family so so much. I miss Malaysia's food badly. If only I had stay behind instead of coming here I wouldn't have such feeling then.

I miss my friends. So yesterday I saw Anson did something that reminded me of something familiar and right away, I miss my friends, just slipped right out of my mouth.

Those chats and conversations I shared with some of you guys occasionally, it really made me feel hell lot better.

Just had my 3-minute speech presentation done today. I think I screwed it up as well. Suddenly, I feel like I'm so dumb here. Accounting quiz was alright, would really like to get full marks for it but I doubt that'll happen.

Right after the quiz, me being me, pulled Asta down to Hang Hao for desserts. Coincidentally, I bumped into some of my course mates there. :) Asta got the famous pearl milk tea for Gong Cha and practised her speech with me while waiting for her drink. Sometimes a spontaneous trip out of the campus with the right person just makes my day better and me feeling less tensed.

Just catch me when I fall. :)

Japanese Food in HK

And so, here comes the weekend and I manage to pull myself through yesterday with endless of accounting excercises, facebook and tumblr posts. Did my laundry in the night, washed a few pieces of new clothes :) and chilled abit before heading back for my books.

As usual, I splurged on food before the start of weekend. This week, I went for Watami, a fusion of Japanese and Korean food restaurant. The bill went up to $720+ for 6 people with 15 dishes and 2 desserts. Well it was definitely worth it, the food was better than my mama's favourite Pasta Zanmai.

That's Risa and Ryo, both Japanese but not from Japan. You get a lot of those in UST, for Koreans I mean. There's only 3 Japanese in my university and here are two of them. Well there are some who are mixed Jap too, like Daniel who's from Spain. Basically everyone's just from everywhere. So it's kinda weird when people ask and say, so you've been Malaysia your whole life? after I mentioned that I'm a Malaysian. :D

Oh and yea, Kai Xian said I get fatter. :( Well, after that OH-SUM Jap meal, I had polo bun with milk. Is it called healthy or fattening? Geez, I don't want to know.

Tonight, I'm going to Ocean Park with my fun course mates. I would consider myself lucky as my course mates and friendlier than what I was expecting. I mean, this course gathers all the elite students in HK, *ahem I'm not one of them* and they are helpful and organise events actively. I think it's a thing for the locals to head over to Ocean Park around this period of time as the theme park had been decorated according to the Halloween theme. From all the stories I've heard, apparently it's gonna be scary with a lot of stalkings from the ghosts.

Did I tell you guys how scared am I of those?! Do you know this haunted house thingy in the First World, Genting? Usually they have their workers dressed up in those scary outfits promoting their haunted house. So, ther's this one time, I saw a gorilla from far and I tried to take a longer route to avoid him and I guess he spotted me and ran towards me. I basically went WTF and starting running. Lucky for me, he bumped into one of the people standing there and I manage to get away. Yep, that's how scared I am of these kind of stuff. LOL!

I had a DVD borrowed from my friend and finally watched my first movie in HK. Nah, it's not really worth it to watch in a cinema since the ticket price is 5 times more than a Wednesday night movie ticket price back in Malaysia.

Back to somewhere familiar

This is one of my favourite local food here, Zha Liong. I had it when I went to Mongkok on my own last Sunday. I was dreading to go back there since I came here and finally I had the chance to do so. It was quite a big portion for me but I manage to finish it anyways. For the past few times when I went there with my family, we could share out the food and order more varieties like porridge and noodles. I did blog about this local coffee shop previously here.

Being in the library whole day with books and occasionally on Facebook and Tumblr actually drains my energy. Well, I really need to get use to this lifestyle or else I won't know how to enjoy my life anymore. I miss mom's cooking, everything here makes me feel unhealthy. I hate that I sound like an aneroxic right now.

Friday's a public holiday again, still contemplating whether to go party for the last time before mid-term or just go to somewhere in the city and experience the crowd. I'm thinking of Causeway Bay for the awesome porridge I had with mom and bro the last time we were here. :)

So today could have just been the one of the bad days since I came to UST but a video and a picture totally saved my life. Starting off with receiving an e-mail by the business school informing that the Ohio study trip has been cancelled since there weren't many applicants. Then only after the cancellation I know that Mr Loh, one of the hardcore supporter of Uncle Seng is actually in Ohio State University. Seriously, damn potong steam! I would really like to meet a friend of mine in a total different setting, that would definitely be fun. But anyhoo, that can't happen for now I guess. :( Like what Jolyn mentioned on Twitter, yao yuen mou fun.

Then the results for the biochemistry was also released, to my dismay I hit the bloody mean mark. I kinda feel bad 'cause I know didn't really put much effort in it. Well, no point crying over a spilt milk aye. So I'm just gonna be a total nerd from now onwards to punish myself. :P

I'm done with my first quiz, I think I kinda screw it up. Geez! After a whole week of facing the unfriendly Biochem notes, I did some reading on something else which interests me today.

Having a major migraine right now, guess I'm totally energy-drained. I slept at 4am yesterday after finishing the notes, even had a chat with Benj who's almost 10,000 km away from where I am now. Sigh, I never thought that this would actually hit me, I miss home and my friends.

After the quiz, I got my HKID and headed to APM mall again for a karaoke session with my course mates. All in all, it was great experience and the locals here are really fun. The food in Neway was awesome, so much more better than the food which are served in the karaoke place back in Malaysia. Charges are roughly the same, $60 for a meal and one non-alcoholic drink.

Now, look at the picture and you'll know why I say the locals are fun.

As mentioned I manage to have Pepper Lunch as dinner. The locals here go GA GA over it. The crowd was big compared to the other food outlets. The outlet we went to was in the foodcourt of the APM Millenium City in Kwun Tong. The mall is located at the exit A2 of Kwun Tong's MTR station.

So I got myself the Black Pepper Unagi set which includes a drink for $48. Well, compared to Malaysia, the Pepper Lunch here is slightly more expensive. The varieties here aren't that many too, not sure whether the choices in other outlets are more.

Also, hopefully I'll get Pepper Lunch tonight! Basically I've been looking for food everywhere since I came to Hong Kong and that explains why I've gained around 2kgs in a month. I did manage to went for gym yesterday night, made me feel skinnier for a few minutes. :D

Nothing can ever go wrong when you start off your day without rushing for a proper breakfast. That's my brunch actually, topped up with a slice of garlic bread and milk.

Classes today are spread out and goes up till 6pm. Anyhoo, tomorrow's a public holiday here and also I wanna wish you guys, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. :)

This is what will happen when you pass by a convenient store on the way back to your hall everyday. I grab a carton of milk after having my meal or the camping session in the library. It's the only drink that makes me feel healthy here. I had fruit juice, yoghurt drink and chinese tea only once here.

As for food, every time I step in to their cafeteria, the simplest meal I opt for is their roasted duck rice. When I feel like saving up some moolah, porridge will be my choice. Mind you, Hong Kong's porridge will always be better than the ones back in Malaysia. :P Then as for some expensive stuff, it'll be spaghetti served in Hong Kong style or the coffee shop which is always pack with the international students. This coffee shop serves western food, like the panini which I blogged about previously.

During the weekends, for the past 2 weeks, me and my friends had our dinners at the Food Republic in the Hollywood Plaza. Well similar to the Food Republic we have back in Pavillion, many varieties of foods are served here. I usually spent up to HKD50 right here. That's only once in a week, so yeah being a food lover I don't mind spending more on food at times.

Snacks I munch on. Marks & Spencer's Redcurrant Puffs which mama usually gets when I was back home and Lay's. I don't really know how much does a tube of Lay's costs in Malaysia but here it's only HKD11.90 and my friend said it was cheaper so I stock up this brand.

I've gained 2kgs here. It's time for gym, not now, after I'm done with my quiz and assignment. :D

Right now sitting at my work station blogging. So I just came back from a talk about networking, it's the 3rd talk I've attended since I came here. People here are moving at a fast pace, faster than the international students I would say. Every time I seek advices from the seniors about interns, jobs opportunities and some case competitions, I always get the same answer, it depends on what you want. Well, back to the fast pace I was mentioning, the locals tend to be all moving towards the same direction and goals which is to be involve in the bank industry. I can say that I haven't met a local who's in the business school that said he or she wants to be in other industry other than banking. This really bothers me as I always come to a point where I would ask myself What do I really want? How do I get achieve it?

The warning for typhoon signal number 3 has been released this afternoon. Everyone's hoping that a typhoon signal number 8 will come and so the class would be cancel. I'm now keeping my hopes that high 'cause it's tad impossible to happen as for the past records it has only happened a once in 3 years. Anyhow, I still went over to Park n Shop, a Hong Kong's chain convenient store to stock up cup noodles, drinking water and marshmallow. Not because of fear, just to join in the stock up crowds.

So the university schedule has finally hit me with assignments to pass up and a quiz to attend next week. Ironically, being a business student, my first class for every week and the first quiz I'm going to attend is for Biochemistry. Hopefully I'll get all my preparations done so I can get myself a haircut on Thursday.

Yep finally a proper post on how my university life is like.

Here's how my Saturday morning goes, I wake up when I feel like. Well, I was suppose to go to the gym with Rebecca today but I woke up with a headache and so I had to cancelled it. Then, a hearty meal of western food and off I head to the library.

It sounds really nerdy but that's how your life is when quizzes and mid terms are coming within a month from now.

Lemme quote this from one of my senior, Mr Owen. One good thing about out library, we sit in our own cubicle and we can go from books, seaview to girls. For me, let's take away the to girls and also not substitute it with guys thankyouverymuch. :D

Just 3 months ago all of us were happily finding ways to have fun after the prom night. Now, we're all going to be scattered almost everywhere. Like me in Hong Kong, some are in UK, US and Malaysia.

To these gentlemen, well smart-ass gentlemen to be exact, all the best in UK and please do keep me update for the Euro Trip! :) Those who are on the way to become doctor, dentist and psychologist, have fun in Malaysia for me.

Finn and Mabel, all the best in UK too and Finn please don't do anything silly on the long-hour flight. Also xianhui, good luck with the teachings and kids! :D

These ladies didn't really exact update me about their future undertakings and anyhoo, take care and thanks for time spent on me and wondermilk!

I didn't get the chance to meet up with most of my classmates before I left, plus I've been really inactive on msn so I quite outdated about their current whereabouts. But yeah, most of them are leaving and some already left, just wanna say that thanks for the awesome college memories, university life is nowhere similar. :(

To my readers who are still trying to spot me in my class photo, I guess this photo will give you an idea of where am I. :P

The last Malaysian food I had, Nasi Briyani. :( I miss Nasi Lemak a lot. I used to have that as breakfast once in a while and I would actually take the initiative to fry an egg to go with it. :)

And of course I miss my family too.

After some hardcore studying in the library and an on-campus dinner, me and Asta went over to Mongkok for a taste of Hong Kong. :) She got herself some really cheap accessories in Mong Kok Centre while I happily indulge myself in Curry Fishballs and H&M.

Well I think I'm finally gonna have all my problems solve, just pray hard that nothing bad comes up last minute. Till then, xoxo.

Woke up naturally, without any alarm today. I slept well and woke up just in time for brunch. Facebook chatted with Apple and off we headed to our uni's coffee shop with Rebecca after our bath.

Spent my whole afternoon in the library rushing some designing stuff. It's been raining a lot these few days, saving some money on the air-con then. The only bad thing about the weather is that I have to stay on campus

I just signed up a one-year contract with 3. For a monthly fee of HKD51 I get 1500 minutes free and unlimited texts to my friends who are using the same service provider. I splurged on food today, had Japanese food at the Food Republic in Hollywood Plaza.

The whole meal plus a drink came up to HKD45. Well, usually I have meals as cheap as HKD20 on campus including drinks, definitely not Jap food so you can't really compare the price.

I've been in a really bad state lately, messed up daily routine and lots of crap things to think about 24/7. Well, I really do hope that I'll be manage to solve all of them as soon as possible and start to settle down. Thanks for the friends who actually talked to me, that really meant a lot to me. :) and yea, my parents too.

Anyway I won't die so soon yet 'cause I can have these awesome views to look at whenever I want to.

Okay I still suck at taking scenery pictures, just wanted to show you guys how awesome my campus is.

Since I haven't been to happening places in Hong Kong to take pictures I'll just update my blog on some stuffs that I did before I left.

Everyone's first impression on me would be, OMG this girl looks so scary. I think none of them would have thought that they'll ended up being the ones I hang out with for the one and half year in college. Right before I left, we manage to came up with a time to hang out and have a movie.

We picked Wondermilk, Damansara Uptown as the girls really liked the cupcakes there.

Xin Yi

This awesome girl was the first one whom I made friend with in college. She was my first teammate and the first one who hugged me. BWAHAHA! Been there with me all the time during classes except for the fact that she ditched me by quitting the Accounting class after the AS level. :P She does awesome nail art and that leads me to the another good friend of mine who does nail arts too.

Yesterday night was at LKF. Woke up at 1pm today, it's been some time since I last woke up past 12.

Life here is really stressful. Not only about the studies, the dorm people are giving me lots of problems. Geez, what's wrong with staying with someone whom you don't know.

Camping in the library again, I wanna grab some stuff at H&M once everything is settled down.

Okay, my blog is becoming really boring, hits been going down but never mind. I'm dying soon too. :P

So far so good for today. Woke up at 10 and had breakfast with Rebecca and her friends. I had egg tart and the famous hot milk tea. Gym after that and a heavy lunch. I'm here now in the library, still warming up before I start to bury myself in the books.
